Wedding Decor & Rentals in Newfoundland and Labrador

The right rentals and decor transform your venue into your dream wedding space. NL wedding rental companies offer everything from basic tables, chairs, and linens to specialty items like ceremony arches, backdrops, lounge furniture, vintage bars, chandeliers, tent rentals, and decorative lighting. Whether your style is classic and elegant, modern, rustic, bohemian, or Maritime-chic, NL rental companies can help you achieve the look you envision.

In Newfoundland and Labrador, rental costs vary widely based on your guest count and the items you choose. Most couples spend $600 to $3,200 on rentals. Basic chair and table rentals start around $300 for 100 guests, while specialty decor items like chiavari chairs, ceremony arches, lounge furniture, and tent rentals significantly increase the total. If your venue is a raw space with no included rentals (common for outdoor and community hall weddings), budget on the higher end. St. John's and the Avalon Peninsula have the largest selection of rental companies.

Popular NL rental trends include acrylic and ghost chairs, geometric arches and altars, statement backdrops with greenery or florals, vintage rug aisles (popular for bohemian and rustic weddings), neon signs, mix-and-match vintage table settings, and draped fabric installations. For rustic and countryside weddings, wood and natural decor is popular. Many rental companies also offer design consultation services to help coordinate colours, textures, and styles for a cohesive look. NL's rugged natural beauty often inspires rustic and coastal-themed decor.

When choosing a rental company, ask about delivery, setup, and pickup times and fees (some venues have strict loading dock times), what happens if items are damaged, whether setup is included or charged separately, and how far in advance you need to reserve. For weddings in remote or rural locations, confirm delivery arrangements and fees, as distances in NL can be significant and some remote locations may require ferry access. Popular NL rental companies book 6 to 9 months in advance for peak season.
