Wedding Decor & Rentals in Alberta

The right rentals and decor transform your venue into your dream wedding space. Alberta wedding rental companies offer everything from basic tables, chairs, and linens to specialty items like ceremony arches, backdrops, lounge furniture, vintage bars, chandeliers, tent rentals, and decorative lighting. Whether your style is rustic prairie, modern, classic, bohemian, or mountain lodge, Alberta rental companies can help you achieve the look you envision.

In Alberta, rental costs vary widely based on your guest count and the items you choose. Most couples spend $1,000 to $5,000 on rentals. Basic chair and table rentals start around $500 for 100 guests, while specialty decor items like chiavari chairs, ceremony arches, lounge furniture, and tent rentals significantly increase the total. If your venue is a raw space with no included rentals (common for outdoor and farm weddings), budget on the higher end. Calgary and Edmonton have the largest selection of rental companies.

Popular Alberta rental trends include acrylic and ghost chairs, geometric arches and altars, statement backdrops with greenery or florals, vintage rug aisles (popular for bohemian and prairie weddings), neon signs, mix-and-match vintage table settings, and draped fabric installations. For mountain weddings, rustic wood and antler decor is popular. Many rental companies also offer design consultation services to help coordinate colours, textures, and styles for a cohesive look.

When choosing a rental company, ask about delivery, setup, and pickup times and fees (some venues have strict loading dock times), what happens if items are damaged, whether setup is included or charged separately, and how far in advance you need to reserve. For mountain weddings, confirm travel distance and road conditions. Popular Alberta rental companies book 6 to 9 months in advance for peak season.
