Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our wedding photography & videography services.
We create timeless, cinematic imagery with a documentary heart. Our films and photographs lean into natural light, genuine emotion, and elegant composition — never trendy or over-filtered, so your wedding looks as beautiful in thirty years as it does today.
A little of both. For portraits we offer gentle, confident direction so you never feel awkward, while the rest of the day is captured organically as it happens — the laughter, the tears, the in-between glances.
Yes. We carve out time after the ceremony for traditional family photos and work from a list you provide, so every important relationship is documented and the process moves quickly.
We photograph and film on Hasselblad, Canon, and Nikon — in both digital and film formats. This considered selection of cameras and lenses is renowned for its exceptional low-light performance, shallow depth of field, and remarkable tonal range, lending every image and frame a rich, cinematic quality that holds beautifully even in the most dimly lit venues.
When the venue allows and weather cooperates, we include aerial coverage to give your film a breathtaking sense of place. Drone work can also be added to any package.
Most couples book 8–12 hours so we can document everything from getting ready through the dancing. We arrive before hair and makeup wraps and stay until the moments that matter most at the reception have been captured.
We would love one for family formals and any specific details you care about. Beyond that, we trust our instincts to capture the day as it unfolds — no need to script every moment.
Yes. We film weddings throughout Ontario, across Canada, and around the world. Travel within the Greater Toronto Area is included; destination weddings are quoted with travel and accommodation.
That is our specialty. A single team covering both ensures a unified look and feel across every image and frame, with two art forms working in harmony rather than two separate crews.
Absolutely. Either service is available on its own, though most couples find that pairing them creates the most complete memory of their day.
Highlight films and edited galleries are typically delivered within 4–8 weeks. Full-length documentary edits may take up to 12 weeks during peak season, as every frame is handcrafted.
You will receive a private online gallery for viewing, sharing, and downloading high-resolution files. A USB drive with your complete collection is available on request.
Depending on coverage, you can expect 400–800 carefully curated images — enough to tell the full story of your day without overwhelming you with duplicates.
Yes, please do. We will also provide share-ready files sized for Instagram and Facebook so your highlights look their best on every platform.
Of course. Fine art albums, additional prints, and custom re-edits are available à la carte at any time. Just reach out and we will put together a quote.
Raw files are not included by default, but they can be purchased separately if you would like the complete, unedited archive of your day.
We recommend securing your date 8–12 months ahead, especially for peak season from May through October. If your wedding is sooner, reach out — we sometimes have last-minute availability.
Each package includes a set number of coverage hours, a highlight film, a full-length documentary edit, an online gallery, and digital downloads. Hours, a second shooter, drone coverage, and engagement sessions can be tailored to your day.
Yes. A 30% retainer holds your date, and the remaining balance can be split into payments leading up to your wedding. We will work with you on a schedule that feels comfortable.
The retainer is non-refundable, as it reserves your date and means we decline other inquiries. If you reschedule to a date we have open, your retainer applies to the new date.
Life is unpredictable. If weather, illness, or an emergency requires a new date, we will work with you to find one we have available and apply your payments toward it.
Long after the flowers fade and the cake is eaten, your photographs and films remain. They are the only way to relive the vows you did not hear, the tears you missed, and the fleeting moments that made your day yours.
You are investing in a dedicated team, professional cinema equipment, and a final product crafted with care. Every film is hand-edited and every gallery is curated — not volume produced.
We offer seasonal promotions and reduced rates for weekday and off-season weddings. Contact us to hear about current offers.
Pricing includes a pre-wedding consultation, full-day coverage, professional editing, your online gallery, and final delivery of all films and photos. A full breakdown is on our Packages page.
You receive full personal usage rights — meaning you can print, share, and enjoy your media freely. The studio retains copyright for portfolio and promotional purposes.
Commercial use requires a separate license. If a venue or vendor wishes to feature our work, we are happy to discuss licensing terms.
We love sharing our couples' stories, but if you would prefer your images stay private, just let us know and we will honor that completely.
In the rare event we cannot attend, a trusted associate who shares our style and standards will cover your day, and we personally oversee every edit to ensure the final product meets our standards.
We record to multiple memory cards at once and back up all footage the same night. Every project lives on redundant drives before a single frame is edited.
Always. We carry backup cameras, lenses, audio recorders, lighting, and batteries to every wedding so technical issues never affect your day.
Yes. We carry professional liability insurance and can provide a certificate of insurance to your venue upon request.
