Bridal Beauty Timeline

May 7, 2026

Your wedding day look is not just about the day itself. Create a timeline for skincare, hair, and makeup appointments in the months leading up.

Preparing for your wedding look starts months in advance. Six months before, start a consistent skincare routine. Cleanse, moisturize, and use sunscreen daily. See a dermatologist for any concerns. Three months before, book hair and makeup trials. Bring photos of your dress and your inspiration. One month before, do any major hair treatments like coloring or extensions. Two weeks before, get any facial treatments. Do not try new products or procedures the week of the wedding. The week before, get a manicure and pedicure. The day before, wash your hair. Freshly washed hair is too slippery for styling. The day of, eat a good breakfast. It will be a long day. Schedule your hair and makeup appointments with ample time. Do not rush. A typical timeline for the bride is 2 to 3 hours. For the wedding party, add 45 minutes per person. Have touch-up supplies on hand. Blotting papers, lipstick, and bobby pins are essential.
